Horse Black Powder Horn

This Black Powder Horn is about 14 inches in length and made from a steer horn. The scrimshaw on this horn is of wild mustang horses on both sides and on the large end a border of horseshoes is scrimshawed all the way around. The throat of the horn has been carved down and there are several rings carved into the shape of horseshoes and the plug is a fiddle key. The large end has a piece of walnut with a relief carving of a horses head in it. The strap is a rope that has been frayed on one end to resemble horse hair.
