Ohio River Map and Bear Black Powder Horn

This Black Powder Horn has a map of the Ohio River from Pittsburg Pennsylvania down to New Matamoras Ohio with different streams and tributaries and a compass scrimshawed on it. The other side has a scrimshaw picture of a bear on it. The large end has grapes, grapevines and grape leaves scrimshawed all the way around it. The large end has a recessed walnut plug in it and a brass screw on plug that can be removed to refill the powder horn with black powder. The small end has been shaped with rings for the carrying strap. The plug on the small end is a fiddle key and has a piece of braided sinew attached to it and the leather shoulder strap so you don’t loose it.
