Possible Bags
The possible bag was
used by Mountain men and Native American
Indians to store all of there possibles such as extra flint, caps,
balls, patches or anything they may need for there flintlock rifles and
hunting.

This Possible Bag has a design
of a Turkey Head on the front of it. Some pieces of the black leather
were cut out and other colored pieces of leather were placed behind the
cutouts and sewn in place. There is also a red circle around the turkey
made from leather. The strap is braided with black and red leather
strips.

This Possible Bag was
customized with a Turkey foot and two Turkey spurs attached to the flap.

I customized this Possible Bag
with circular cut out on the flap and a lighter piece of leather was
sewn in for a contrasting color. The center design represents the four
directions, north, south, east and west. There is a deer antler button
in the center that was smoothed down and attached to the flap.

This Possible Bag was
customized with a deer antler button to hold the beaver tail flap
closed. On the side where the strap attaches to the bag there is a
hunter’s star sewn into the leather with imitation sinew.
