Black Powder Primer Horn

This Primer Horn is made from a steer horn. On the small end there is a piece of ivory cut down and shaped to fit the end of the horn. The ivory piece can be removed to refill the horn with black powder. Inside of the ivory piece are brass components that has a trigger release on it to dispense the black powder into the flash pan. The scrimshaw art is of a Mountain Man leaning on his gun. There are several leather straps around this primer horn to help protect it and carry it.
