Black Powder Primer Horns


This Primer Horn is made from the horn of a Pronghorn Sheep. The image that is carved is a silhouette of a Pronghorn Sheep. The top part of the horn has been cut off and reattached with a brass hinge and has a brass clasp to hold it in place when not in use. Inside is a brass spout to pour the powder from. The bottom of the primer horn has a piece of hardwood to cap the end with brass pins to hold it in place. The bottom plug is made from a buffalo horn and is in the shape of an acorn.
