Red Bear Black Powder Horn

This Black Powder Horn is made from a cow horn. The large end has a flat or flush walnut plug in it with a hole drilled to allow you to refill with black powder. There is a brass screw in plug with a lanyard attached to it too plug the hole. The bear on the side is both scrimshawed and carved into the side of the powder horn and red ink is used to highlight it. The border has grapes, grapevines and grape leaves scrimshawed on it. The small end has many groves carved into it with leather lacing hanging down from it. The small end is plugged with a piece of walnut that is hand carved to resemble an acorn.
