This is a fancy version of a Plains Indian War Club. It was carved and painted to look like an Eagles Head. The handle has a thick piece of leather wrapped and sewn on with imitation sinew. There is a leather thong and horse hair attached at the end of the handle. The war club is made from a buffalo (bison) jaw bone.
