Small Bison Black Powder Horn

This is a small Black Powder Horn around 7 inches long and is made from a Buffalo horn. The large end has a walnut cap with a buffalo skull etched into it. There is fill hole on the large end that has an oak plug carved into the shape of an acorn. On the small end there is a brass cap that can be removed to pour the black powder and is attached to the leather thong with braided sinew. The piece is scrimshawed with a Mountain trapper leading his horse thru the water.
