Tomahawk Black Powder Horn

This Black Powder Horn is made from a cow horn. The scrimshaw artwork on one side is of three different Tomahawks and the other side is scrimshawed with a Native American Indian standing behind at tree with his long rifle while two frontiersmen walk down a path behind him. The plug on the small end of the powder horn is hand carved in the shape of an acorn The large end has a walnut plug and the stopper is in the shape of an acorn. Also on the large end the strap attachment is made from the main beam and the brow tine of a deer antler.. The strap is leather and has a deer button and beads made from deer antlers. There is also a larger bone bead on the strap.
