Flute Walking Stick

This is a walking stick and a flute combined into one piece. The piece of bamboo was purchased from a man who grew it in Pennsylvania. It is a six hole flute and can be played as a five hole also. There is two pieces of deer buckskin attached to the flute with artificial sinew. The mouth piece is a piece of very old hickory which I turned down to fit inside the end of the flute. It is glued in and sealed with red cedar dust which gives it a red colored ring between the two pieces. This is a nice piece for an outdoors person who likes to play relaxing music.
